God loves you

Jeremiah 31:3The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.

1 John 4:8-10The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

God hates sin.

Psalm 5:5 The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.

Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things which the Lord hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil, A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.

Even if you are a "good" person

Proverbs 21:2Every man's way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.

You have not lived a perfect life.

1 John 1:8If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Nor has anyone else.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Your sin has separated you from God.

Isaiah 59:2But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

Your payment for sin is death and hell.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But there is good news.

Luke 2:10-11But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

1 Timothy 1:15 It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.

And God loves you so much

That He gave Jesus as your substitute

2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

And through His death

Romans 4:25He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

You can have life eternal

 John 17:3 This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

1 John 5:11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

And by His resurrection death is defeated.

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,

This gift is free.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

Romans 3:24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

You could never deserve it.

Galatians 2:16nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

And just by accepting this gift

Romans 10:13 for "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Your sins will be forgiven and forgotten
